1. Dirga Pranayama (Three-Part Breath)

Begin by sitting in a comfortable position. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your belly, ribcage, and chest expand. Exhale slowly and completely through your nose, emptying your chest, ribcage, and belly. Repeat this for several rounds, focusing on the smooth, continuous flow of breath.

2. Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing)

With your right thumb, close your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril. Close your left nostril with your ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale. Inhale through the right nostril, close it, and exhale through the left nostril. Continue this pattern, alternating nostrils with each breath.

3. Ujjayi Pranayama (Victorious Breath)

Take a deep inhale through your nose, slightly constricting the back of your throat to create a soft hissing sound. Exhale through your nose with the same constriction, maintaining the sound. Focus on the audible breath to anchor your mind in the present moment.

4. Kapalabhati Pranayama (Skull Shining Breath)

Sit with a straight spine and take a deep breath in. Exhale forcefully through your nose by contracting your lower belly. The inhalation should be passive, driven by the recoil of your abdomen. Start slowly and gradually increase the pace as you become comfortable with the technique.
